Agago

Agago is located in North Eastern Uganda, approximately 370 kilometres  by road, north of Kampala.  It was established on 1st July , 2010. Prior to that it was part of Pader District. Agago  is bordered by Kitgum in the North, Abim in the East, Otuke to the South, Kotido in the Northeast and Pader to the West.

The population size is 227,792.

The language that is dominantly spoken is Acholi, and the people practice farming as the major economic activity.

The points of interest for tourists in the area include; Agago central market, offices of Agago Town Council and the Kalongo-Patongo road.
